LINDER FARMS.

Earlier this week I called up my best friend, Amber, and invited myself to tag along with her on her trip to pumpkin patch at Linder Farms.  It was a beautiful fall day but COLD!  It made for pretty pictures but freezing photographer fingers!  Where, oh, where were my new fingerless gloves?  Amber's neighbor Katie and Katie's sister Tara joined us at the farm with their kids Brady, Harmony and Isabella (Izzy).  That made for a completely crazy afternoon in the pumpkin patch and definitely a new kind of adventure for childless me!

WE STARTED OFF BY ~SPRINTING~ THROUGH THE STRAW BALE MAZE . . .

SO WE COULD QUICKLY MOVE ON TO THE BOUNCY HOUSES!
BOUNCING BRADY AND IZZY.

ISAAC AND ANNA & ANNA AND IZZY.

BUT I'M SINCERELY UNSURE OF WHO ENJOYED THE BOUNCY SLIDE MORE!
KATIE AND HER NIECES, HARMONY AND IZZY.

GOTTA ADMIT KADIE LOOKS LIKE SHE IS HAVING A BLAST!
KADIE AND HER SON BRADY & A SIMPLY ADORABLE IZZY.

AMBER COULDN'T RESIST THE FUN!
IN RETROSPECT, I WISH I HAD GIVEN IT A GO TOO!

AND THEN WE MOO-VED ON TO THE MOO TRAIN.

HANDSOME BLUE-EYED BRADY.

AND IZZY AGAIN!
SHE WAS SO PHOTOGENIC!

AND BEFORE HEADING OUT INTO THE FIELDS, WE ALL STOPPED FOR
MINI-DONUTS.
I WAS DELIGHTED BECAUSE HALLOWEEN DONUTS ARE ONE OF MY FAMILY'S FALL  TRADITIONS!  IN FACT, AN INVITE TO MAKE DONUTS IS CONSIDERED THE "FIRST DATE" OF MY PARENTS AND MY MOM STILL MAKES ORANGE-FROSTED DONUTS EVERY YEAR!  BY THE WAY MOM--YOUR'S ARE SOOOO MUCH BETTER!  ")

AFTER WARMING UP WITH HOT CHOCOLATE AND DONNING HATS AND GLOVES WE JUMPED ON THE HAY RIDE AND HEADED TO THE FIELDS.

FIRST STOP:  THE PETTING ZOO!

AFTER SNAPPING A FEW PICTURES OF MY NEW OBSESSION, SHEEP, THE INFAMOUS PETTING ZOO SMELL GOT THE BEST OF ME AND I HEADED OUT INTO THE PUMPKIN PATCH ALONE!

I LOVE THE BLUE SKIES OF FALL!

WHEW!
WHAT A WHIRLWIND ADVENTURE!
