ROCKIN' THE RAPIDS

Yesterday, surrounded by the roar of a monster rapid, it occurred to me, I GIVE THE BEST CHRISTMAS GIFTS!  Waaaaay back in the snowy, cold, crappy months of December, surrounded by the glow of the Christmas tree, Laura and Danny opened a rather boring Christmas gift.  From me!  It was a silly looking waterproof camera and an even sillier poem promising we would celebrate Christmas in July this year--on the South Fork of the Payette with helmets, lifejackets and paddles in a big ol' goofy looking raft!  Well, in case you haven't noticed the 90 plus degree temperatures, its July!  So, MERRY CHRISTMAS LAURA AND DANNY!  A trip down the South Fork is certainly a cool gift BUT it turned out to be one of the BEST gifts because I meant that I HAD to go too!  I LOVE my gift giving ability!  I am just so thoughtful and generous!  I think I just might celebrate Christmas in July with Laura and Danny next year too!
