The Friday before Mother's Day I took Seriana out to the Botanical Gardens to shoot some portraits. At the end of the evening Seriana picked her favorite shot and gave it to her mom as a Mother's Day gift! Although we had "work" to do out in the gardens, we still had a ton of fun together! Seriana is very interested in photography as well so we spent some time learning how to take better photographs--especially portraits! Of course I was torn between needing to take portraits and wanting to photograph the flower--so I did some of both (as did Seriana)! I L-O-V-E the gardens and thought it was the perfect place to wander around with Seriana on a beautiful spring evening! After leaving the gardens we had dinner at her absolute FAVORITE restaurant before editing photos at Starbucks until it was time to for her to be home.
