After very little persuasion, my family decided to load up and celebrate Easter with me, here in the sunny, greenness of the valley! My patio (and BBQ) were particular excited to host the festivities! I too was a wiling host but unfortunately, a whiny one! Just days before, old age had arrived and had quickly and painfully settled into my lower back! I have no fantastic story behind the origins of my painful ordeal. My back just started hurting and progressively got worse--to the point where this suddenly old lady could barely get out of bed! So, since I am totally over whining about it now, I will just add that MOST of the pictures in the post are ones my MOM took over the course of the afternoon! You know I am feeling crummy when I--PHOTOG TESS--can't even muster up the energy to TAKE PICTURES! It was a wonderful afternoon though and I am grateful that Mom stepped up to the plate and documented the festivities in my absence! Mom cooked up Bonzai Burgers (a la Red Robin) which are officially DELICIOUS and we all provided side dishes--yes EVEN ME!
