SHANKZ.

While my Little, Seriana, was on Spring Break we were able spend some much needed time together mid-week! I had read about Shankz in the Kid's Directory months ago and the two of us were excited to try something new together! Although both of us would much prefer to be outside, this tortuously cold spring has been forcing us to find indoor entertainment. Shankz was very cool! Although I have to admit, we didn't actually do much golfing! We were way too busy being goofs! We kept annoying the players behind us because we were so slow to complete each hole! Eventually we gave up trying to actually hit the ball in the hole and just walked our silly selves around the course! Seriana was very eager to try out my camera (especially since the batteries in her camera were dead). Together we managed to take an awful lot of pictures--most of them more awful than not!

Playing in the blacklight course was awesome! However, we decided to try 3-D blacklight golfing. That was pretty icky! I couldn't figure out which of the 3 balls you see while wearing the glasses to hit! We quickly retired our glasses and I, unfortunately and unwittingly, ended up with them on top of my head for the afternoon. Not a very photogenic look for me!

Seriana also bought both of us these crazy mouth pieces!

However, we discovered that you can't laugh or giggle while wearing them so . . . we quickly retired them as well! On a related note, Seriana insisted we wear our new matching shirts for the day! Between my 3-D glasses, the disco ball action in my mouth and my I'M A BIG (fill-in-the-blank) shirt, is it any wonder I am still single?! ")
